Job Brief
Mainly responsible for local purchase (Outgoing process), oversea purchase and shipping process and documentation. Completing tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Discuss monthly demand quantity with relevant departments
- Identify material supply sources, develop new suppliers, and new products.
- Inquire, negotiate, estimate and compare prices, negotiate prices, payment methods, delivery dates, etc. with suppliers.
- Preparing Purchase Order (oversea) and contract signing.
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
- Coordinate with logistics agent for import licenses and shipping documents.
- Manage to check and prepare Import shipping documents.
- Follow up Payment Request on time and check AP balance with supplier every transaction.
- Track purchase cargo and delivery times, ensuring they arrive at the appointed time and date, and check the goods receipt.
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and maintain good communication.
- Handle of claim and follow up quality issue.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement, pricing records, shipment and license information, shipping documents records, including supplier information, contracts, purchase orders, goods receipt and related documentation.
- Performs other related duties as required and report directly to the direct manager (monthly, quarterly, and yearly).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or a similar role.
- Proficiency in English/Myanmar, Chinese (preferable).
- Good knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient in risk and operations management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong ethics and integrity in dealing with suppliers and procurement processes.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, and MS Office applications.
